Our News About You team takes copyrighting laws very seriously.  We want to provide you with assurances that we are not in violation of any copyright laws with regard to publication.  News About You is in business to conduct ourselves ethically and legally.  As a result, we have provided some additional information for our colleagues in the publishing business.  Please read about our process below. 

• News About You does not reprint articles - we mount actual articles from your publication.  Additionally, all of our customers receive the following disclosure:

"News About You is not directly affiliated or sponsored by the publishers of the article on the front of this plaque.  This is a mounting of the actual article from a publication and not a reprint of an article."

• If a customer requests a plaque with an article that we are unable to locate we will, in every instance, contact the publisher to obtain reprint permission.  If this permission is not obtained, the customer will be notified and the order will not be filled.  We will only create a plaque for a customer if the article can be obtained in its original format from the publication.
• It is our goal to have a great working relationship with our publishing friends.  We will always take into consideration any legal or ethical guidelines that you wish to share with us and strive to keep our standards as high as yours.
